No but gank says why can't you ask a tattoo forum instead as this is for talking about West Ham and West Ham alone.

I love tattoos.

They immediately inform me in an interview tha thisis someone I don't want anywhere near my company, so I can cut the interview short and not waste time.

I like tattoos - It is good way of weeding out judgemental pricks.

Have you thought of something a bit different? There are a lot of different and interesting styles out there. Check out the work of Amanda Wachob.

I have no problem with people getting tattoos. It's a free country.

But they are the uniform of gangsters and the reason people get themselves inked is to associate themselves with the menace, violence and death of the gangster life.

Queens is having a skull inked into his arm. What do you normally associate with skulls?

In my local gym the young men have an assortment of gangsta images painted into their skin: knives, axes, scorpions, snakes, snarling animals of every stripe.

It's not difficult to understand why. It's all about getting 'respect', an obsession with today's social media ignoranti, and they think by signalling they are gangster wannabes they can intimidate and cow others.

There are virtually no tattoos in the world's best educational establishments, where bright and successful people mix. On the other hand almost everyone in prison has tattoos. You take your pick on that scale - just don't ask me to hire someone who chooses the latter.

I had a tattoo done and regretted it probably a few years after I had it done and you know what I will always love what the tattoo say's and what it is about even more so now, but that is in my heart and always will be so why have a tattoo about it?

Tats are a cry for attention we all need to either feel young and rebellious at one time in our life and the way the tattoo parlours have sprung up they know the score.
Have a tattoo if you wish but a tattoo that takes up half of any part of your body be it an arm or a leg etc makes you look like a pathetic cheap twat and always will just think of David Beckham and that should stop you in your tracks.

You sound really old.

Tattoos are shit for many reasons but gangster connotations is not one of them. It's like wearing the same style of shirt for your whole life, might look ok for a year or two but will look dated for 90% of it's lifetime. Plus you'll look like a peasant.

What I don't get is why you'd get something so meaningless to you painted onto you forever. Mandalas? Did you know what they were a year ago?

That isn't a dig at Queens specifically. Remember all that Maori stuff people used to get? They're stuck with that now.

So not a West Ham tattoo then? Why are you asking on here? There are plenty of tattoo websites.

Twats with loads of tattoos or piercings are without question the most boring cunts on the planet. All a big 'look at me aren't I interesting' when they're absolutely fucking not and have to basically disfigure themselves for attention.

QFB isn't talking about a subtle tattoo tucked away somewhere discrete for the delectation of the llllllllaydeeeez. He's considering the full Stilton. Skulls and shit. Just daft. How old is he? We're all entitled to be daft, but there must be limits, surely? I had my eyebrow pierced in the (very) distant past, and that had to come out once I wanted to get a job among the professions. Bit harder to make a death skull or ninja warrior disappear from your neck or forearm. When opting for childish displays of rebellion and risible attempts to purchase 'cool', I advise taking a leaf out of my book and retaining a large grain of pragmatism.
